There is so much food on the counter by now that when the bakers sneak up to add another cake, the shop team glare at them with a ‘where do you think you’re going to put that?’ look ….

The Salon has now reopened Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

Breakfast

  • Sourdough crumpet with local honeycomb and whipped ricotta
  • Buttermilk waffle with poached stone fruit and yoghurt ice cream
  • Life changing bread (GF) / sourdough/ soy linseed/ fig and raisin with F&S jam or ricotta and honey
  • Avocado toast
  • Boiled free range eggs and soldiers
  • Kristen Allan Yoghurt with house made toasted muesli and roasted plums

Sandwiches

  • Smashed egg, aleppo pepper, kewpie mayo, paprika and watercress on ciabatta
  • Leg ham, gruyère cheese and mustard aioli on sourdough
  • Green goddess chicken on seeded ciaba

 Savoury

  • Slow braised lamb, potato and rosemary pie
  • Chicken, leek and tarragon pie 
  • Pork and caraway sausage roll
  • Leek and gruyere tart
  • Tomato galette with anchovies, caramelised onions and thyme
  • Spanakopita Spinach, feta, pecorino, mint, dill, ricotta and buttery puff pastry.
